How to play Wrestle Bros?

1-Player Mode Controls

  • Movement: Use A, D or the Right-Left Arrow Keys.
  • Jump: Press W or the Up Arrow Key.
  • Block: Press S or the Down Arrow Key.
  • Action: Use SPACE or the G-L keys.

2-Player Mode Controls

  • In 2-Player Mode, Player 1 uses the W, A, S, D keys together with the G key. These controls allow the first wrestler to move, jump, block, and perform actions.
  • Player 2 uses the Arrow Keys together with the L key. This gives the second player an independent control setup so both wrestlers can fight at the same time.

Knock Down Your Opponent with Different Moves

The main challenge in Wrestle Bros is defeating your opponent through a combination of attacks and movement. Simply pressing an action button repeatedly is not always enough. You need to combine your attack controls with movement to create effective moves and find the right opportunity to strike.

Combine attack and movement

Movement plays an important role during every wrestling match. Your wrestler needs to stay close enough to the opponent to attack while also avoiding dangerous situations.

You can combine the movement buttons with your attack controls to create different offensive actions. Moving toward an opponent before attacking can help you close the distance, while jumping can change your position and create another opportunity to strike.

Timing is also important. An attack made too early may miss the opponent, while an attack made too late can give the other wrestler time to react.

Try to observe how your opponent moves before choosing your next action. A player who constantly attacks without considering their position can become easier to predict. Changing your movement and attack timing can make your actions less predictable.

The combination of movement and attacks is what gives Wrestle Bros its energetic wrestling style. Every match can develop differently because both players are constantly changing their positions and reacting to each other's actions.

Use movement to create attacking opportunities

Good movement can create better opportunities for attacks. Instead of staying in one place, move around the arena and look for moments when your opponent is vulnerable.

Jumping can be useful when you need to change your position quickly. It can also make the fight more dynamic because both wrestlers can move vertically as well as horizontally.

Blocking is another important part of the controls. Pressing S or the Down Arrow Key allows you to defend yourself and avoid taking unnecessary damage.

A successful fighter needs both offensive and defensive actions. Attacking constantly may seem aggressive, but knowing when to block or reposition can be just as important.

The balance between attacking and defending gives each match more depth. You are not simply trying to press buttons faster than your opponent. Instead, you are trying to understand their movement and choose the right moment to make your next move.

Deplete the opponent's health bar

The winning condition is straightforward: you win when your opponent's health bar runs out first.

Every successful attack can bring your opponent closer to defeat. Because of this, keeping track of their health is important during the match. When the opponent has already taken significant damage, you can focus on creating another opportunity to finish the fight.

At the same time, do not ignore your own health bar. Taking too many unnecessary hits can quickly turn a winning position into a losing one.

A good strategy is to combine offensive pressure with defensive movement. Attack when you have a clear opportunity, then reposition or block when your opponent begins to respond.

Matches can become particularly exciting when both wrestlers have low health. At that point, one well-timed action can determine the winner. Staying focused until the final moment is essential because the result can change very quickly.

2 Game Modes

Wrestle Bros offers 2 main game modes that provide different ways to enjoy its wrestling gameplay. You can challenge another person on the same PC in local multiplayer or enter a tournament and compete through multiple rounds.

2 Players on the Same PC

The 2 Player mode lets you invite a friend to become your opponent. Both players can compete on the same PC, using different keyboard controls.

Player 1 uses W, A, S, D, and G, while Player 2 uses the Arrow Keys and L. This setup allows two people to participate in the same match without needing separate computers.

Local multiplayer makes each match more personal because you are directly competing against someone sitting at the same computer. Both players can react to each other's movements, change their attack timing, and develop different strategies during the fight.

The simple control system also makes it easy to start a quick match. One player can move aggressively while another may prefer to block and wait for an opening. These different approaches can make repeated matches feel less predictable.

You can also switch between Wrestle Bros and other local competitive games. Rooftop Snipers is another option for two people sharing one PC, providing short and chaotic battles that are easy to start and replay.

Tournament

The Tournament mode takes the wrestling experience beyond a single match. Instead of fighting only one opponent, you participate in multiple rounds and try to achieve the final victory.

Each round becomes another step toward winning the tournament. You need to maintain your performance throughout the competition because losing a match can prevent you from reaching the final result.

Tournament play puts more importance on consistency. A strong opening match is useful, but you also need to continue making good decisions in later rounds.

Use the controls you have practiced in individual fights to move, attack, block, and respond to opponents. Pay attention to your health and avoid taking unnecessary damage because every round contributes to your overall progress.

The tournament structure gives Wrestle Bros a longer-term objective compared with a single local match. Instead of simply defeating one rival, your goal is to survive multiple rounds and claim the final win.

With its combination of simple controls, active movement, direct attacks, and different game modes, Wrestle Bros creates a straightforward wrestling experience that is easy to start and challenging to master. Whether you choose to fight a friend on the same PC or work through multiple tournament rounds, the core objective remains the same: use your moves effectively, defeat your opponent, and become the winner.
